notification this RFI requests industry comment on DPSC'S proposal to
establish a vendor managed inventory (vmi) program. Vmi will involve
management, packaging, and shipment of up to 1100 pharmaceutical Line
Items having war reserve requirements. During mobilizations this
program will provide a buffer to fill initial DOD requirements until
manufacturers are capable of increasing production to meet war reserve
requirements.` the inventory to be managed may be a mix of Government
and contractor owned items. A capability to rotate the inventory to
prevent materiel from expiring is desired. Quantities and
