From firms/developers/financiers to design, build, finance, maintain and operate a Military Family Housing Community. As a result of a recent housing market analysis, the Air Force has determined a shortfall of over 400 homes exist in military housing at Lackland Air Force Base and within the community. To alleviate partially this shortfall, the US Air Force is contemplating a private sector partnership. This partner would provide site improvements, utilities, roads and construct family housing units (actual number to be determined). In addition the partner would also be responsible for operating and maintaining these housing units for an extended period of time. f(hOhis period the community may revert to the Government or be retained by the partner. The housing units must be built according to installation design guidance as well as the local community standards.
