202/482-1512. The Turkish Ministry of National Defense invites
qualified U.S. firms to compete on the basis of international
competitive bidding for the provision for G/A/G ECCM capable (have
quick) radios for Turkish sites at Erzurum, Pazar, Sarkisla, Merzifon,
Kutahya, Ahlatlibel, Finike, Mardin, Izmit and Canakkale. The project
consists of providing and installing 41 each UHF/AM Multichannel
radios with ``have quick'' and remote control capability; providing and
installing 18 each remote control units with modems; providing and
installing 68 each collinear antennas and 10 each discone antennas;
proving and installing 6050 meters feeder cable with connectors;
providing and installing 6 each voice communication switches including
radio control panels; upgrading existing two voice communications
switches including radio control panels; providing and installing two
HQQ timing systems; providing and installing 28 each EMP filters;
providing and installing 21 each antenna towers complete with
ancillaries; providing 90 + 270 days initial spare parts,
documentation, codification and training, and providing special tools
and test equipment. All firms will be required to have a NATO
Restricted security clearance. All applicants must be certified to
compete in NATO ICB by the U.S. Department of Commerce, Office of
