Design, fabricate and install a Medical WRM Storage System inside a new warehouse building at the 16th Operations Support Squadron, Medical Operations Flight, at Hurlburt Field (Air Force Base) FL. This system consists of the following components: pallet rack, a pre-engineered mezzanine with fluorescent lighting and fire-suppression sprinklers; a mobile ladder stand, one 3000-pound capacity electric walkie-reach forklift with battery and charging system, one 10,000-pound capacity electric pallet jack with battery and charging system and hospital grade wire-frame shelving. Also included with this system shall be complete user training and instruction as well as installation and maintenance/parts manuals. An Ombudsman has been established for this acquisition. The only purpose of the Ombudsman is to receive and communicate serious concerns from potential offerors when an offeror prefers not to use established channels to communicate his/her concern during the proposal development phase of this acquisition.
