R -- PROGRAM PROJECT MANAGEMENT INITIATIVE TRAINING SOL W-D-14146 DUE 111495 POC William Clement tel: 202/358-0415 NASA Headquarters is proposing to procure training research, development and instruction for the Program Project Management Intitiative (PPMI) program NASA wide. The contractor will provide training for NASA personnel in various disciplines. The contractor shall be responsible for the maintenance and updating of existing courses,career development programs, (the Project Management Development Process or PMDP), handbooks,documentation;researching strategies and methodologies that increase productivity in this discipline;develop products in the area of project management tools and techniques, and deliver courses. Included are the development of computer based tools and information principles (using case based reasoning and project simulation whenver possible), and all requirements for developing, maintaining,enhancing,updating and teaching courses conducted in an interactive classroom environment. All training, whether for course development, system design, or delivery shall conform to adult learning technologies. This procurement will be a National Buy under the SBA 8(A) program. The Contract Type will be a combination of Firm Fixed Price and Time and Materials. Standard Industrial Code (SIC) 8742, (Management Services Not Elsewhere Classified) applies to this acquisition. To qualifiy under this SIC code a firm must have a three year annual sales average of less than $5.0 million. It is anticipated that a draft RFP will be issued by 30 November 1996 for industry comment. It is anticipated that a formal RFP will be issued by 1 February 1996.
