TACTICAL WHEELED VEHICLES CONFERENCE, MONTEREY, CALIFORNIA; January 28-30, 1996. There will be a conference sponsored by the Tactical Wheeled Vehicles Systems Section, Tank and Automotive Division, American Defense Preparedness Association to discuss ``Investment Strategies for the Future''. This annual conference is open to both Government and Industry representatives and will include one and one half days of presentations made by distinguished military and industry speakers, including a panel to discuss foreign sales of US Military tactical wheeled vehicles. The keynote address will be given by the Honorable Gilbert F. Decker, Assistant Secretary of the Army (Research, Development and Acquisition) and Army Acquisition Executive. GEN Leon E. Salomon, Commanding General, US Army Materiel Command and other top level military leaders in the tactical wheeled vehicle area will also speak. Special guest speaker will be Mr. Steven A. Thompson, Professional Staffer, House National Security Committee to present attendees with a congressional perspective.
