The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code for this project is 1711 - Special Trade Contractors - Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning. The size standard is $7 million. The work includes the removal of blowers, humidifiers, air handling units (AHUs), and exhaust fans currently part of the existing HVAC system and the installation of new AHUs, fans, humidifiers, associated ductwork, controls and incidental related work. Requests for plans and specifications may be mailed to the above address by indicating ''Plans Room'', first floor, Building 212 or requests may be sent via facsimile by using fax # (202) 433-0939. Contractors within the local area are encouraged to pick-up a copy of the solicitation at Building 212, first floor, Plans Room of the Washington Navy Yard. The hours of operation are 7:30 to 3:00, Monday though Friday. There will be no charge for the documents, however, there will only be one set issued per contractor. Requests for plans/specs and bidders lists should be made separately to avoid confusion at the plans office. This also applies to requests for numerous solicitations.
