The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to award a sole source contract to Westinghouse Electric Corporation, Naval Systems Division, 18901 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44117-1388 for engineering services to support the MK48 ADCAP Torpedo afterbody subsystem. As the developer of the MK48 ADCAP Torpedo afterbody and the MK48 ADCAP MODS Torpedo Propulsion Upgrade, Westinghouse possesses unique experience and capability to conduct studies and analyze emergent issues related to the MK48 ADCAP Torpedo afterbody.
