Meyers 703-308-4666 Contracting Officer Solicitation is for the basic issuance of Federal supply 42, part IV-firefighting vehicles and waste disposal vehicles. The Solicitation is for amultiple award schedule 5 year period with a one time option to extend anycontract(S) awarded an additional 5 years. Special item Numbers (SIN) have been changed as follows: SIN 618-01: Fire fighting vehicles; to include, but not limited to: Arial ladders and platform, arff, brush/wildlands, command centers, crash, hazmat, pumpers, tankers, pumper/tankers, rescues, and fire fighting trailers and SIN 618-02: Waste disposal vehicles and accessories and trailers and accessories; to include, but not limited to: Refuse, recycling, hazardouswaste, and liquid waste. Significant changes include nonmandatory indefinite quantity indefinite delivery type contract and multiple award schedule vs. Multi-vendor supply contract.
