This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this synopsis or to otherwise pay for the information solicited except as provided in subsection 31.205-18, Bid and Proposal Costs, of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). The United States Navy is requesting information concerning non-developmental solid state transmit/receive modules for phased array radar applications. Frequency bands of interest are L, S, C and X. The following informatin is requested: (1) Description of module, including existing applications, (2) Performance data including receiver gain, noise figure, peak output power, average output power, power added efficiency, phase performance, size and weight, (3) Cost in lots of 1,000, 10,000 and 100,000. Responses should be received no later than 20 December 1995. This is not a request for solicitation and any response to this request for information cannot be used by the Government to form a binding contract.
