The Air Force Development Test Center (AFDTC) intends, under simplified acquisition procedures, to solicit competitively for an articulating front end loader with a minimum turning radius of 40 degrees either way of centerline. Operating weight must not exceed 10,000 lbs. Minimum heights to cutting edge must be no less than 13 ft, dump heights minimum 7 ft 6 in. Standard bucket must be able to handle a 1 to 1-1/2 yard load, maximum 2,700 lbs. The loader will be used in the recycling facility's wood processing yard to move recyclable wood materials such as construction debris, tree limbs and branches into a wood chipper and after chipping into dump trucks or open 20/40 yard refuse containers. The loader must be able to function properly and demonstrate reliability under constant usage of no less than six hours per day moving a bucket full of materials for short distances.
