Meyers 703-308-4666 Contracting Officer Solicitation is for the basic issuance of Federal supply schedule 42, partiv-fire fighting vehicles and waste disposal vehicles. The Solicitation is for a multiple award schedule 5 year period with a one time option to extend anycontract(S) awarded an additional 5 years. Special item Numbers (SIN) have been changed as follows: SIN 618-01: Fire fighting vehicles; to include, but not limited to: Aerial ladders and platforms, arff, brush/wildlands, commandcenters, crash, hazmat, pumpers, tanker, pumper/tankers, rescues, and fire fighting trailers and SIN 618-02: Waste disposal vehicles and accesories and trailers and accessories; to include, but not limited to: Refuse, recycling, hazardous waste, and liquid waste. Significant changes include nonmandatory indefinite quantity indefinite delivery type contract and multiple award schedule vs. Multi-vendor supply contract. Federal supply classes 4210, 2320 and 2330. Contract effective dates are July 1, 1996 through June 30, 2001.
