Ultra High Frequency (UHF) Satellite Communications (SATCOM) Line of Sight (LOS) transceivers, Quantity 4 each and spare parts and components to support the AN/USC-54(V). The proposed procurement also includes an option for three (3) additional AN/USC-54(V) and spare parts. These will be used to satisfy U.S. Navy UHF SATCOM Demand Assigned Multiple Access (DAMA), Non-DAMA and LOS communications requirements. The proposed procurement will be issued on a sole source basis to E-Systems, Garland Division. Numbered Note 22 applies. This sole source procurement is necessary to ensure that the procurement meets the users' established operational requirements and the form, fit, and function compatibility requirements of the existing systems.
