The announcement is reproduced in its entirety for placement under 65 - Medical, Dental and Veterinary Equipment and Supplies: The contractor shall provide a health care advice nurse support system for the Ireland Army Community Hospital for the period 1 January 1996 through 31 December 1996. The system shall be an algorithm-based nurse triage software system to manage demand for healthcare services. The system shall allow trained Registered Nurses to provide the first level of health care delivery over the telephone. The automated support system shall be used by Registered Nurses to receive patient calls, verify eligibility, perform structured triage and medical advice functions and match those patients needing services with the best care option. The system shall be easily customized to support local standards of practice and shall produce and maintain detailed records of individual and aggregate calls. System shall provide a base set of pediatric, women's health, adult medicine/surgery, and mental health algorithms designed to sort patients into different risk categories according to a combination of signs, symptoms, risk factors, medical history, etc. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered.
