written Request For Quotation (RFQ) under simplified acquisition
procedures for the following equipment: Netware Connect (8 user) - 2
each; Digiboard PC/8 (8 port) - 2 each; 8 port mail DTE (DB25 I/O
Cable) - 2 each; PC Anywhere (host and remote) 10 user pack - 2 each;
Hayes 28.8 v.34 internal modem - 20 each; Hayes 28.8 v. 34 external
modem - 6 each; Pentium 120 Mhz - 4 each consisting of the following:
32MB RAM, 1GB IDE HDD, 3.5'' 1.44 MB Floppy Disk Drive, 17'' SVGA
monitor, 2MB PCI Video Card, Quad Speed IDE CD-ROM Drive, 2MB PCI Video
Card, 101 Keyboard, MS Mouse, Desktop Case, DOS 6.22 and Windows 3.1;
4.1 File Server 486 DX4 100 Mhz - 1 each consisting of the following:
32 MB RAM, two 2GB SCSI HDD, 1.44 3.5'' FDD, Adaptec SCSI Controller,
101 Keyboard MS Mouse, DOS 6.22, and Mid-Tower Case. This simplified
acquisition will be awarded based on a base period and four option
years, not to exceed 60 calendar months and $100,000. This procurement
is set-aside for 100% small business concerns. Written responses to
this RFQ should be submitted to this office within 15 days from the
date of this publication and can be faxed to Heidi Boecher on
202/366-9848. Anticipated date of award is December 11, 1995. This
notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and
Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Dept. of Transportation, Office
of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program
to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises
to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation
related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending
Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable
financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000. For further
