Travers. 70 - Multimode Matrix Switching System - The Dahlgren Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center intends to enter into negotiations on a sole source basis with Astarte Fiber Networks for a Multimode Photonic Matrix Switching System. The system includes the following: Star Switch Multimode Chassis, P/N 97100 (1 ea); M8.62 Multimode Switch Module, P/N 97008 (18 ea); Installation & Training, P/N Installation & Training (1 lot); 1 Year Extended Maintenance, P/N Maintenance (1 yr); External St-Style Connectors, P/N 63010 (144 ea); MS DOS Windows Multiple Switch Control, P/N 89011 (1 ea); SNMP Interface and Software, P/N 97725 (1 ea); Redundant Power Supply, P/N 97729 (1 ea); and Model 7200 Service Kit, P/N 97900 (1 ea). The system shall be provided with all standard commercial documentation, documentation showing the integration of the components, installation, user manuals, maintenance manuals, software manuals, and one year warranty. Delivery shall be made to the Dahlgren Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren, Virginia. Delivery shall be made within 90 days from date of award. The specific make and model equipment identified above are required in order to meet compatibility requirements. Solicitation N00178-96-R-4020 will be issued on or about 22 November 1995. The solicitation will close 30 days after issuance.
