The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, requires development of a data transfer system Engineering Development Model for support of switching/data transfer requirements at multiple AEGIS facilities. The solicitation will include options for production, installation, spare parts, and technical support for four complete data transfer systems to be installed at Aegis Training Center, Dahlgren, Virginia (two systems); Aegis Combat Systems Center, Wallops Island, Virginia and Aegis Computer Center, Dahlgren, Virginia. Delivery of all options, including five years of on-call technical support for each data transfer system after installation, is required by February 2005. The solicitation will be issued on or about 20 December 1995. This requirement was previously published in the CBD on 9 August under SPECIAL NOTICE - SOL N00178-95-Q-2023. All offerors who responded to the Special Notice will be retained on the List of Sources to be Solicited and need not submit a new request for this solicitation unless a change in address, point of contact, or business size status is required.
