In support of the Astrophysics Data Facility, NASA/GSFC intends to enter into a sole source purchase to Acorn Software of Charlestown, MA for the acquisition of a 500 CD-ROM jukebox with 4 drives and software, including 12 months software maintenance. Request for Quotation (RFQ5-64565/985) will be issued as the vehicle to obtain this requirement. This acquisition will be done pursuant to U.S.C. 2304(c)(1)--only one responsible source. The jukebox must have software compatibility with open VMS 6.1 (AXP & VAX) capable of reading ISO9660 and VMS file-formatted disks.
