This directorate intends to issue RFP No. F33615-96-R-3001 for the purpose of conducting experimental studies, developing models and assimilating relevant international expertise for the purpose of exploring the feasibility of a radiatively-driven hypersonic wind tunnel. It is intended that this will be a sole source award to Princeton University on the basis that they are the only ones with the unique capability to provide the research services proposed.
