The Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) intends to raise the total estimated contract ceiling for the following multi-award contracts: DCA100-94-D-0015 with BDM Engineering Services Company, DCA100-94-D-0016 with Boeing Information Services, Inc., DCA100-94-D-0014 with Computer Sciences Corporation Systems Engineering Division, DCA100-94-D-0017 with Electronic Data Systems Corp., DCA100-94-D-0018 with Martin Marietta Technical Services, Inc., and DCA100-94-D-0019 with Unisys Corporation. These multi-award contracts were awarded 10 November 1993 under Solicitation DCA100-93-R-0064 on the basis of full and open competition. These contracts provide for nonpersonal technical integration services for activities throughout all levels of DoD's IM Integration Architecture and other Federal agencies in the following eight task areas: (1) Program and Project Management, (2) Integration Program Management and Development, (3) Integration and Migration Strategy, (4) Assessment Support, (5) Integration Prototyping and Testing, (6) Training, Documentation, and Information Dissemination, (7) Integration Engineering and Software Development, and (8) Technical Management Planning. The contracts have a contract term of one base year and six, 12-month option periods with a total contract ceiling for all six of $935 million. It is anticipated the contracts will reach the ceiling by the 2nd quarter FY96. The release of the Draft Request For Proposal (DRFP) for the follow-on entitled DEIS Plus (new name DEIS II) was announced 09AUG95 in the Commerce Business Daily, with DRFP mailed 29AUG95. The Government intends to increase the total estimated contract ceiling from $935 million to $1,185 billion, an increase of $250 million for continued contract support while efforts to award the follow-on contracts are underway. This is a sole-source action pursuant to title 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), and FAR Part 6.302.1. No solicitation documents exist for the increase to the existing ceiling. This sole source action to increase the contract ceiling is subject to GSA's Delegation of Procurement uthority approval.
