U.S. Coast Guard Maintenance and Logistics Command, Pacific proposes to contract for dockside repairs on USCGC MELLON, a 378' high endurance cutter, homeported in Seattle, WA. All work will be performed at either Pier 36 in Seattle, WA or Naval Base in Everett, WA during the period of 18 Feb through 26 Apr 1996. Work items include; temporary services, warping capstan overhaul, sewage and grey water valves, visitors berthing upgrade, electric motor overhaul, engine room door renewal, turbine patch step and ladder rung installation and padeye removal and installation. In accordance with the competitive demonstration program an unrestricted solcitation will be issued on or about 12 Dec 1995. All responsive bids will be considered. (0324)
