Amended description is as follows: HQ FORCES Command Army Atlanta Contracting Center intends to procure, through full and open competition, a time and materials award fee contract for Base Operations, logistical and other support services within the nation of Haiti, Central America, South America, the Caribbean Islands and other similar areas of overseas operations. Services include, but are not limited to: food services; material maintenance; site support; transportation; morale, welfare & recreation; real property maintenance and repair; administration; security; laundry; waste removal and disposal; airfield operations; janitorial and grounds maintenance and other support services. Performance will be for a base period (to begin on/about 1 May 1996) and four option periods. The planned release date for the Request for Proposals is the first week of December with proposal receipt date to be the second week in January. A Pre-Proposal conference will be held in Atlanta with the exact date and time to be determined. A site visit will also be scheduled with the exact date to be determined. The request for the RFP must be in writing accompanied by a non-refundable certified check, cashier's check or money order payable to the US Treasury in the amount of $50.00 per package.
