R -- STAFF AUGMENTATION SOURCES SOUGHT THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. 1. Qualified sources are sought to provide staff augmentation services for Sandia National Laboratories (SNL) at the Albuquerque and Carlsbad, New Mexico and Livermore, California sites. Sandia intends to place several contracts for anticipated staff augmentation requirements of up to approximately 2500 contractor employees. These requirements will be for temporary positions including, but not limited to, clerical and administrative support, technicians, engineers, and Ph.D. scientists. The complement of required job skill sets will be broken into two or more discrete segments that are anticipated to be placed under separate contract actions. Potential offerers must have demonstrated experience in the areas of recruiting and retaining personnel with the skills required in the operation of a multi program national laboratory. Sources with demonstrated experience furnishing staff augmentation personnel are sought for the purpose of an upcoming solicitation. 2. Labor Hour type contracts are contemplated for this effort. There may be a limitation, up to 3 years duration, on the length of time any employee can work continuously under contract. Work space and equipment will be made available by Sandia for contractor personnel to perform their duties. 3. Some of the contracts Sandia intends to place will be ``set aside'' for Small and/or Small Disadvantaged; Woman-owned Businesses. Firms should indicate whether they are Small, Small Disadvantaged, Small Woman-owned, or 8(a) certified businesses. Sandia expects that Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Codes 7363 - Help Supply Services or 8711 - Engineering Services will be assigned to the procurement actions for the different skill set segments. 4. Sources that are interested in receiving a solicitation for this requirement must respond with no more than a two page, single-sided document describing the company's experience, personnel, facilities, capabilities and qualifications for providing these staff augmentation services.
