Z -- MAINTENANCE DREDGING, 33-FOOT PROJECT, ENTRANCE CHANNEL, SETTLING BASIN AND CUT-1, PALM BEACH HARBOR, FLORIDA SOL DACW17-96-B-0004 DUE 121595 POC Contract Specialist Robert Mosteller (904) 232-3739 (Site Code DACW17) The project work consist of removing approximately 88,000 cubic yards of shoal material along the Entrance Channel from Station 30+00 to Station 56+00 to required depth of 37 feet Mean Low Water (MLW) with allowable overdepth of 1 foot; the north settling basin from Station 32+00 to Station 40+50 to required depth of 34 feet MLW with allowable of 1 foot; and Cut-1 from Station 67+00 to Station 76+93.20 to required depth of 34 feet MLW with and allowable overdepth of 1 foot. the dredged material will be placed below Mean High Water (MHW) on a 2,500-foot long section of beach beginning at a point 500 feet south of the south jetty. The work also includes turbidity monitoring and endangered species observers. Magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 to $5,000,000.
