The Air Force Development Test Center (AFDTC) intends to issue a request for written quotation to purchase a modular building. Nominal floor size is 28' by 60' with minimum 6000 lb axles and removable hitch. Building will include bath with fixtures to meet OSHA standards, walls and partitions, and insulation of R-19 (ceiling) and R-11 (walls and partitions, and Thermoply (or equal) sheathing. The roof will include an SSBC approved truss system. Hurricane straps and emergency lights with battery backup are required. Two 3 1/2 ton HVAC units with 10 kw heat strip, one 6 gallon electric water heater, two 100 amp single phase panel boxes, and .019 aluminum siding and trim. Engineering shall be in accordance with Florida Code - Business Occupancy. Complete specifications and drawing will be included in the request for quotation with an anticipated award date 27 December 1995 and an estimated delivery of 8 to 10 weeks.
