The cross band repeaters will be used for radio communication from District offices to equipment located at mountain top radio communication site, then onto field units, for the Siuslaw National Forest. The equipment will be operational 24 hours per day 365 days a year. The mobile radios will service the communication needs of Law Enforcement personnel assigned to the Siuslaw National Forest. This project is located in the Supervisor's Office, Siuslaw National Forest. This solicitation is for the supply and delivery of the equipment components only. The Government will be responsible for the intallation of the systems. Contract time is 90 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Estimated start work date is February 2, 1996.
