74 -- AUTOMATED EVIDENCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM DUE 120195 Contact, Howard Grandier, Contracting Officer, 202/273-2700. The Administrative Office of the United States Courts intends to negotiate a sole source agreement with inData Corporation to provide, install and maintain automated evidence management and presentation systems in various Federal courtrooms. The system will store, retrieve and display evidence which may be documents, photographs, charts, animation or video. Barcode technology will be used to annotate, retrieve and display stored evidence. Output will be to monitors positioned throughout the courtroom, e.g., the judge's bench, witness stand, counsel tables, and jury box. Contractor will provide all necessary hardware, software, and cabling. Contractor will maintain the system, provide necessary training to court staff an other users, and required documentation. All expenses associated with the system, maintenance, training and support will be the responsibility of the contractor. System will be available to lawyers on a reimbursable basis, with costs based on an established fee schedule, and payments made directly to the contractor. All responsible sources will be considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the Contracting Officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued. Any such solicitation would be issued to inData Corporation and to all firms responding to this synopsis of intent. Interested parties shall submit detailed functional and technical capability information, along with pricing information to the address above, Attn: Howard Grandier within 15 days of the publication of this notice. Parties who fail to include the detailed functional and technical capability information shall not be considered. (318)
