D -- SATELLITE MASTER ANTENNA TELEVISION SYSTEM SOL RFP 101-11-96 DUE 121195 POC Contracting Officer, Priscilla Lee, (202)565-5480 The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) intends to award a sole source contract to Browns Interactive Technologies, LTD for Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC), Fort Sam Houston, Texas; for the office-air reception of radio frequency (RF) signals available from terrestrial television broadcast transmitters, domestic satellite, and FM radio transmitters; located video programming of inforamtion and educational television channels from live pick-up, video tapes, and message generator sources; future calbe television reception of educational television channels originating from the Post Academy of Health Sciences Media Division: transmission of all television channels and the FA radio frequency band via a coaxial cable plant to user outlets throughout all BAMC project facilities. The SMATV systems will interface with the software, TV Menu BITs and BITEs. All responses must be made in writing and received in this office within fifteen (15) calendar days after initial publication of this notice. If no responses are received to the effect that this service is available from an alternate source, a contract will be awarded to Browns Interactive Technologies, LTD.
