Officer: Pat Hill, 011-49-611-816-2624. Facilities remediation services
for U.S. Army Medical Facilities in Germany, Belgium, Netherlands,
Italy, and Turkey. This remediation effort includes, but is not limited
to, environmental, logistical, operation and maintenance, and repair
and renovation. It is anticipated that up to approximately 25% of the
work may be for non-medical facility remediation. The contractor will
be required to perform all necessary actions to remediate the stated
scope, to include surveying the problem, recommending a solution,
developing a detailed work plan to execute the work, and to remediate
the problem in a timely manner. Work will vary from site to site,
project to project, and will require extensive knowledge of remediation
services, and demonstrated working knowledge of the ``Joint Commission
on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations'' (JCAHO), ``National
Fire Protection Association'' (NFPA), and other applicable U.S.
standards, and Host Nation's standards. The objective of the project is
to provide quick responses for the remediation of failed or failing
facilities in a cost effective method. The resulting contract shall be
an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Requirements contract with
Firm Fixed Price Delivery Orders for Remediation (survey and
execution), and ``Not to Exceed'' Time and Materials items for bonafide
emergency situations. Performance period shall be one-year with two
option years. Total amount per year shall not exceed $8.5 million. The
Government reserves the right to make multiple awards. Funds are
currently not available for this project, but will be available prior
to issuance of each delivery order. Technical evaluation criteria will
be set forth in the solicitation which is scheduled to be issued on or
about 15 December 1995. All responsible sources may submit a proposal
