Bednar (717) 895-6369 (Site Code DAAC71) Tobyhanna Army Depot intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with PowerSystems International Inc., Hauppauge, NY for a Trailer System P/N 9000003 Rev B which is a transpotable command center has been specifically designed and tested to track behind a High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle and transport on C-140 and C-141. It is believed that only PowerSystems can provide the required trailer system since they possess proprietary design data for the system; there is no technical data package available for release; and training and extensive testing cannot be repeated. A written request for quotation will be issued with award anticipated by 12-20-95. Any sources who believe they can provide the required item should contact the contract negotiator and provide evidence to demonstrate their capability in consideration of the above noted facts.
