REPROGRAMMING (CFMRE) AN/GYQ 75(V)2 EQUIPMENT SOL F08626-96-C-0158 DUE

Ext 3074. A requirement exists to acquire the upgraded Advanced Medium
Range Air-to-Air Missile (AMRAAM) Common Field-Level Memory
Reprogramming Equipment (CFMRE) AN/GYQ-75(V) equivalent system for the
Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) development test program. To meet
Air Combat Commands accelerated test schedule, a sole source award to
Texas Instruments is anticipated for approximately six upgraded CFMRE
systems with integration software for JDAM and sustaining engineering
effort to support DT and OT. A complete technical data package is not
available for the upgraded system which would allow a competitive
procurement. This project is anticipated to begin in January 1996 to
meet the first required delivery date of November 1996. Companies
interested in this acquisition should provide to the PCO documentation
of their capabilities and experience in the following areas: airborne
munitions built-in-test (BIT) experience, experience with
reprogramming equipment for EEPROM based memory storage devices for
munitions, software capabilities and languages used to implement
reprogramming, system safety experience with testing and reprogramming
munitions, system integration experience (hardware/ software),
experience with MIL-STD-1553 BUS communications and MIL-STD-1760
interfaces. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes
only, it does not constitute a solicitation for bids or proposals and
is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Companies
that believe they can meet these requirements, including the delivery
schedule, must provide evidence of their capability to fulfill the
above requirement and must indicate whether they are a Small business
concern or Small Disadvantaged Business concern as defined in FAR
52.219-1 and 52.219-2 respectively. After the Government has evaluated
all capability packages received, a solicitation will be issued if the
determination is made that a source in addition to Texas Instruments is
capable of meeting the requirements. For further information on this
