59 -- RF/RF TEST TRANSLATOR DUE 081795 POC MR. ROBERT WEIR,(TFK) (908) 532-8875.. This is a Market Survey to locate additional sources for seven (7) Test Translators. Part number DN-8-7-31672, NSN: 5985-01-406-9641. Which is used in the AN/GSC-52 Satellite Terminals. The current source for the Test Translator assembly is MITEQ. Detailed technical data is not available from the Army. Suppliers capable of furnishing this item must so indicate in writing to Commander, CECOM, Attn: AMSEL-LC-ED-RS (Weir/TFK) Fort Monmouth N.J. 07703-5023. The response must include documentation such as test results, purchase order number from the prime contractor, or a statement from the prime contractor, certifying that the supplier can provide this item and that the item will be physically and functionally interchangeable with the current manufacturer. The successful supplier(s) shall be required to warrant the item supplied that it will satisfactorily perform when used for the purpose intended by the ARMY.
