SET-ASIDE; ONLY SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS WITHIN THE AFOREMENTIONED SIC
CODE WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR AWARD. ACTUAL REQUESTS FOR QUOTATIONS
(RFQs) WILL BE ISSUED ELECTRONICALLY - HARDCOPY RFQs WILL NOT BE
ISSUED; THEREFORE, THERE IS NO NEED TO RESPOND IN WRITING WITH
REFERENCE TO THIS CBD NOTICE. The Defense Information Technology
Contracting Office (DITCO), Scott AFB, IL, will procure through an
electronic bulletin board, the Information Technology Acquisition
Bulletin Board System (ITABBS), maintenance services for the following
FIP hardware located at either the Defense Megacenter Jacksonville,
Jacksonville, Florida, or the Defense Information Processing Center,
Norvolk, Virginia: Model 3420-008 Tape Drive, Model 4381-P12 Central
Processor, Model 3370-A02 Disk Drive, Model 3370-B02 Disk Drive, Model
3880-001 DASD Controller, Model 7171 Protocol Converter, Model
3174-01L Terminal Controller, Model 3194 Display Terminal Base, Model
3206 Display Terminal, Model 3205-2C Display Terminal, Model 3179
Display Terminal, Model 3278-2 Display Terminal, Model 3191 Display
Terminal, Model 3278-2A Display Terminal, Model 4245-20 Printer, and
Model 3802-002 Tape Controller. The maintenance will be required on a
monthly basis through 30 Sep 96. The anticipated RFQ release date is 08
Dec 95 with quotations expected to be due on 22 Dec 95. Vendor
quotations in response to this RFQ must be received in hard copy.
Vendors will be able to dial into the electronic ITABBS, and download
the RFQ, check the status of the RFQ, and receive amendments and other
RFP related correspondence. All responsible sources may submit a
quotation which shall be considered. Information from the electronic
bulletin board system will either be in ASCII or Microsoft Word for
Windows 6.0 format. RFQs are usually a compressed (PKZIP) MS Word file
requiring you to have compatible software to extract the file. The
ITABBS can be accessed by any FIP vendor through standard hardware and
software. To access ITABBS, the necessary communications parameters
are 8 data bits, no parity, 1 stop bit, with modem speeds of 1.2 - 14.4
KBPS. ITABBS requiremnts will remain posted until the deadline has
passed for submission of vendor proposals. Interested vendors are
encouraged to access the ITABBS via telephone number (618) 256-9200 to
