Y -- COMPONENT SERVICING FACILITY--CONSTRUCT CHEMICAL ANALYSIS FACILITY, PHASE II AT KSC, FL SOL IFB 10-96-0001 DUE 012296 POC Jack Massey, Contracting Officer, OP-ESO-A, 407-867-7230. Project scope encomposses clearing and grubbing; new asphalt and concrete paving; expansion of the Phase I Building to include 1982 m2 of new chemical analysis and sampling decontamination building, a new field cleaning facilities; construction of a new 168 m2 hypergol decontamination building; a new 261 m2 pre-engineered metal building including 220 m2 of warehouse space and 41 m2 of dry chemical storage space; relocation of an existing 81 m2 hazardous waste storage building; a new 227 m2 fenced storage area; and relocation of two (2) existing towers and associated hoists. The project scope also includes one (1) additive alternate to provide a 2500 KVA substation including primary feeder and manholes. All construction shall be in accordance with KSC Drawing 79K34117 and KSC Specification 79K34118. Period of performance is 360 days from receipt of notice to proceed. Funding for this project is not currently authorized-award of a contract is contingent upon receipt of authorized funding. Order of magnitude is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000.
