ICA18190 DESCRIPTION: The contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment and incidental for the Tecate New Port of Entry, CA. The base bid includes the construction on 12+ acre site including a building addition and alterations to the existing historic administration building and construction of one-story new structures. The work includes demolition, new concrete, masonry, structural steel, metal roof decks, built-up roofing, clay tile roofing, wood doors, metal doors and frames, steel windows, architectural woodwork, interior finishes, loading dock equipment, plumbing HVAC electrical security communications alarm systems, and hazardous materials abatement. The alternate bid includes seismic upgrade, secondary building, reconstruction of historic canopy and additional landscaping and sprinklers. The estimated construction cost is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. The solicitation package will be available on or before December 11, 1995.
