L -- ON-SITE TECHNICIAN SUPPORT POC Contract Specialist, Andre' D Batson (910) 432-6145, Contracting Officer Robert T Cherry, Jr., (910) 432-2297. This is a modification of a synopsis printed on 8 November 1995 and is an intent to issue a sole source contract to AT&T Customer Service Center, 8403 Colesville Road, Silver Spring MD 20910 for the services stated below. Provide technical support person for existing AT&T Private Branch Exchange telecommunication system. Support person must be certified to program, troubleshoot, and integrate all AT&T system upgrades. Support person will possess a TOP SECRET security clearance and provide on-call around-the-clock monitoring and system diagnosis. Support service will cover all actions not included in the existing AT&T service warranty due to expire 17 April 1996. Support is for the period from date of award thru 30 September 1996 with three one-year option periods. All responses must include specific information detailing how your organization can provide the required service and how that service can be provided without voiding the current warranty. All responses must be received within 15 calendar days of the date of this CBD notice. All responses from responsible sources submitting the required information will be fully considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the Contracting Officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published. Any such solicitation will be issued to the intended vendor and all firms that respond to this synopsis of intent or otherwise request a copy of the solicitation. No contract award will be made on the basis of any responses to this notice, as the synopsis of intent shall not be considered a solicitation document. (324)
