M -- OPERATION OF JOB CORPS CENTERS SOL RFP No. JC-RVI-5-01. Contact Linda Bynum, 214/767-2579, Jose M deOlivares, Contracting Officer, 214/767-2567. Request for proposals for the continued operation of the Gary Job Corps Center, located in San Marcos, Texas, will be available approximately November 28, 1995, for issue in response to written request. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will cover the period July 1, 1996, through June 30, 1998, plus three governmental unilateral renewal options of one year. The approximate average capacity strength is 2150 residential students (1267 males and 883 females) and 50 non-residential (15 males and 35 females) students. A pre-proposal conference will be convened at 1:00 pm on December 14, 1995, at the Gary Job Corps Center, 2800 Airport Freeway 21, San Marcos, Texas. There will be a tour of the facility beginning at 8:00 am on December 15, 1995. Upon entering the facility, tour participants must report and register at the security building located at the Center entrance. Interested offerors should limit their attendance at the conference and tour to not more than five persons. RFP No. JC-RVI-5-01 due date is 02/09/95.
