R -- INVESTIGATIVE TRANSCRIPTIONIST/CLERICAL SUPPORT SERVICES SOL RFQ 274-0001. Due 121895. POC Penny Lyle, Contract Specialist, 404-624-5223. The Southeast Regional Office, Atlanta GA proposes to make a single award, on a firm-fixed-price, definite quantity, indefinite delivery basis, for the provision of Investigative Transcriptionist/Clerical Support Services for the EEO Investigations Office. Session length for the provision of services is one (1) hour, and it is anticipated that 100 sessions per month will be utilized. The initial contract period is from date of award through September 30, 1996, with one (1) option year from October 1, 1996 through September 30, 1997. Contractual duties will include preparation of sworn statements from audio tapes, assembly of investigative files, and preparing general correspondence. Contractor may perform duties at their place of residence, or other secure site free from distractions. On occasions, Contractor will be asked to perform clerical support services on the government site when the EEO investigator is in the office. Contractor is responsible for providing equipment necessary to perform these duties (i.e. personal computer with printer or word processing machine, WordPerfect 5.1 software, data transcribing machine, etc). Contractor is responsible for pick-up of and delivery of finished product. Detailed security investigative procedures will be required including but not limited to, urinalysis, NCIC check, fingerprinting, and five-year verification of employers. All responsible small business sources may submit an offer for consideration under this contractual action. Requests for solicitation package must be submitted in writing.
