Indefinite Quantity Contract for Surface Preparation and Coating of Deep Draft Camels and Separators at Wharfbuilder Area, Ford Island, Oahu, Hawaii. The work includes surface preparation, prime coating and finish coating deep draft submarine camels and separators including but not limited to assemblies and components dismantled by Government forces, hazardous and non-hazardous waste collection and disposal and other incidental related work. All hazardous wastes shall be transported by a certified, licensed transporter to an approved permitted treatment, storage and disposal facility. The contractor shall obtain all applicable permits, including but not limited to permits required by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the State of Hawaii. Estimated cost: $500,000 to $1,000,000. The contract will be for a base period of 12 months plus two option years. The Government will not synopsize the option(s) when exercised. The total term of the contract, including all options, will not exceed 36 months. This contract will replace a contract for similar services awarded in 1995.
