The Electronic Combat Development System Office (ASC/LN) intends to issue Request for Proposal (RFP) No. F33657-96-R-0001 (formerly RFP F33657-94-R-0040) AN/ALE- 47(V) Countermeasures Dispenser System (CMDS) Production Lot IV, with options for Production Lots V-VII, on or about 12 Dec 1995, pending passage of the final FY 96 Defense Authorization bill. The AN/ALE-47 CMDS RFP will be for full rate production of AN/ALE-47(V) Shop Replaceable Units (SRUs), Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) (to include sequencers for the ALE-40 consolidated clean-up (CCUP) effort), and complete systems. The government anticipates that a maximum of 250 systems may be required for each production lot. See 17 Mar 94 Sources Sought CBD announcement for a complete program description. This action has been 100% set-aside for Small Business participation only. All responsible small business sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. The AN/ALE-47(V) CMDS program office has established a Technical Library which will remain open through contract award. Rules and procedures for potential offeror use of the library have been established and can be obtained by contacting the program office.
