The Air Force Development Test Center (AFDTC) intends to solicit competitively for Wood Fiberboard made of celotex or equivalent. The Fiberboard must be a non-cane fiber wood-base, fibrous-felted, non-impregnated, structurally insulating board as defined by ASTM D15444-78, having a specific density range of 15-19 pounds per cubic foot in 4' X 8' X 1/2 '' sheets with smooth, factory-applied white finish and square edges as per ASTM C208-72E section requirements, workmanship, and finish. The Fiberboard must be wrapped in packages of six (6) with sheets (industry standard) of Kraft paper or equivalent on pallets with up to sixteen packages. A one-year requirements contract is anticipated with two (2) one year options. The estimated quantity for each year is four thousand (4000) packages.
