The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division intends to issue an unrestricitve solicitation on or about 15 December 1995 for operations, scheduling, engineering and aircrew services in support of the following aircraft and their associated systems: P-3, EP-3, E-2, C-2, S-3, ES-3, C-12, T-44, T-34, E-6A, EC/KC/C-130, UC-12, C-28 and the Naval Airship. Services are required for a base period of one year plus four one year options. Part of the performance is required to be on-site at Patuxent River, Maryland. It is anticipated that an award will be made for an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity type contract, with provisions for time and material orders. Award will be based on a best buy analysis. The level of effort for the key categories is estimated at 74,000 hours per period of performance. Key labor categories include pilots, flight test engineers, and senior engineering technicians.
