NASA is seeking suggestions from qualified entities as it assesses the viability of alternative approaches for addressing requirements currently levied on its suborbital program (suborbital rocket and balloon missions), and on how NASA might improve its approach to implementing the suborbital program. A review effort is being conducted by NASA over the period of November 1995 through January 1996 to evaluate requirements and objectives of the suborbital program, its relevance to NASA science programs and to university research programs, and program costs and management processes. Alternatives for managing and implementing the program will be investigated. NASA may benefit from your suggestions regarding the suborbital program.
