The Naval Medical Logistics Command has a requirement for one Gas Chromatograph/Mass Spectrometer with a programmable automatic sampler and data management system. The unit shall be capable of performing two simultaneous injections with a dual capillary split/splitless injector system. The unit shall include a Flame Ionization Detector (FID). The software shall be capable of dual channel data acquisition, collecting and analyzing flame ionization and mass spectral signals simultaneously on a single computer utilizing a graphical user interface. The unit shall include a NIST mass spectral data base library of at least 75,000 compounds for software searches and matches. The unit shall be capable of being linked to a LAN via Ethernet.
