B -- TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE IN ENGINEERING, OCCURRENCE ASSESSMENT AND ANALYTICAL METHODS EVALUATION FOR DRINKING WATER CONTAMINANTS SOL C600015T1 POC Contact Point, Valen Wade, (513)366-2144, Contracting Officer, Lisa Bentley, (513)366-2041 EPA has the responsibility under the Safe Drinking Water Act to establish revised National Primary Drinking Water Regulations. In addition, EPA has responsibility to investigate data on chemical occurrence to characterize drinking water threats. Under the proposed contract the contractor will provide technical support and information development capability necessary for the development of drinking water regulations. Specifically, the contractor will collect and evaluate available technical information and develop methods for identification and prioritization of potential drinking water contaminants, and for performance and cost analysis of available treatment technology, occurrence and exposure assessment and selection and performance evaluation of analytical methods for these contaminants. It is anticipated that the Government will award a Cost Plus Fixed Fee Contract with a Base period and four (4) twelve month option periods. Any resultant contract will also include options to increase the level of effort within each contract term. Request for the solicitation must be in writing to Valen Wade, as identified above.
