McConnell, Contracting Officer, (301)227-2334 The Defense Mapping Agency (DMA) is modifying solicitaition DMA301-96-R-0001, previously published on October 10, 1995, for the priority production demonstration for the production of six 1:100,000 scale topographic line maps (TLM). In addition to the final reproduction materials, digital information for each sheet will also be required. The format required for the digital information will be Vector Product Format (VPF). The additional VPF data will be required four months after the acceptance of the hard copy film negatives, which remains a 90 day requirement. DMA will additionally furnish VPF specifications, Vector Smart Map (VMAP) Level 2 specifications (Draft), and VMAP Level 2 extraction guidelines (Draft). The MC&G restrictions, no foreign nationals are allowed to participate in the procurement still applies.
