V -- FURNITURE MOVING AND INSTALLATION SOL 14250-6-SI-81-20940 DUE 011296 POC Kent Charles, Contracting Officer, 303/236-8040 extension 243 The Bureau of Reclamation, Denver Technical Center has a requirement for a contractor to move and install Herman Miller systems furniture from warehouse to the site of installation. Installation can be new or reconfiguration of work stations. This includes tear down of existing stations before new installs. Work under this contract to accomplish any moving of systems furniture from warehouse or any location within the Bureau of Reclamation Technical Center. Work can be performed between 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on all days of the week as necessary to meet schedule requirements. Schedules and provides installation crews. Provides all equipment and tools required for installations of systems furniture. Performs installments and de-installments. Installments are to be performed according to installation plans with no deviation. All installments shall be erected plumb, rigid, properly aligned, spaced and securely fastened in place complying with manufacturers' published recommendations. Inspects product to insure that it is free of damage, electrical system is functional, and final cleaning and touch-up painting is done. Performs minor repairs to existing product and/or replacement of damaged product. Manages installation drawings and punch list records. Moves Herman Miller product from government warehouse to site of installation or staging area. Provides all necessary labor, vehicles, and equipment for moving furniture components to the assembly or staging area. Prevents damage to the systems furniture, floors, walls, and property throughout the moving services. Prohibited from using any government-owned equipment unless specifically authorized by the COTR. SIC Code is 4214. A firm is considered small for this procurement if its annual average gross revenue for the past 3 years is $12.5 million or less. This is a total small business set-aside. (0332)
