Y -- FY 94 BRAC III PROJECT, CONVENTIONAL MUNITIONS STORAGE AREA, MINOT AFB, NORTH DAKOTA SOL DACA45-96-B-0019 DUE 011795 POC Contact Contracting Division at: (402)221-4266. The work will include the following: (Approx. quantities) NEW CONVENTIONAL MUNITIONS STORAGE BUILDINGS - Nine (9) pre-engineered metal buildings (2500 SF each) incl: lighting, power and lightning protection. BOMB BUILD-UP FACILITY - 7000 SF building w/ a high and low bay incl: exterior walls CMU & prefinished insulated metal panels, standing seam metal roof over rigid insulation over steel deck & purlins, interior walls of CMU and prefinished insulated metal panels, 4 overhead steel doors, 15 hollow metal doors, 4 ton overhead crane, wet pipe & dry pipe sprinkler system, mechanical HVAC, plumbing, & compressed air, electrical lighting, power, fire detection & lightning protection. SITE WORK incl: bituminous paved access road and Personal Operated Vehicle parking area, Portland cement concrete paved Government Operated Vehicle parking area, 4,650 LF 6 foot high chain-link security fence, earth berms around storage buildings, area lighting, 4000 LF 10-inch water distribution line, 190 LF 8-inch fire protection water line, 190 LF 1 1/2'' water service line, 185 LF sanitary sewer, lift station w/ two (2) 2 HP submersible grinder pumps, 1600 LF 1 1/2 inch force main, 1400 LF 2-inch gas line, 3000 LF underground electrical distribution, 150 KVA & 250 KVA padmount transformers. The estimated construction cost of this project is between $2,500,000 and $5,000,000. Contractor's Quality Control will be a requirement in this contract. The Contractor will be required to commence work within 10 days after notice to proceed and complete the work 365 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. Provisions will be included for liquidated damages in case of failure to complete the work in the time allowed. Performance and payment bonds will be required. Bid sets will be available on/a December 13, 1995. Half-size plans and specifications will be furnished upon request. All requests for solicitation packages should be made in writing no later than 14 days prior to bid opening. After such time, packages will be furnished if supply is available. It has been determined that the number of sets be limited to 1 (one) perfirm (additional copies will be the responsibility of the requestor).
