Work at FDAs Winchester, Massachusetts facility includes, but is not limited to, construction and supervision services for the installation of a handicap accessible path of travel to the main entrance of the WEAC facility; installation of HVAC systems, fume hoods and associated exhaust fans, scrubbers, controls, and new roof; renovation of the existing mens and womens bathrooms and locker rooms; installation of air-conditioning unit, ductwork, air devices, controls and accessories for sample storage room and stockroom/receiving area; and preparation of shop drawings, as-built drawings and equipment operation manuals. A fixed price contract is contemplated with a 365 day period of performance. The estimated cost of construction is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
