Synopsis No. 0636-95 - The procurement will be conducted under other than full and open competition under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The source for this requirement is the Texas Instruments/Martin Marietta JAVELIN Joint Venture. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. The proposed contract will consist of the following basic hardware requirements: FY97, 1,168 Tactical Rounds, 254 Command Launch Units (CLU), 183 Field Tactical Trainers (FTT)-Student Station, 38 FTT-Instructor Stations, 29 Basic Skills Trainer (BST), 2 EOD Cutaway Rounds, 278 Battery Control Units (BCU), Stockpile Reliability Hardware, Initial Spares & Consumables and Total Package Fielding. FY98, 1,245 Tactical Rounds, 295 CLU, 138 FTT-SS, 36 FTT-IS, 26 BST, 320 BCU and Initial Spares & Consumables for Total Package Fielding. FY99, 1,896 Tactical Rounds, 343 CLU, 154 FTT-SS, 31 FTT-IS, 19 BST, 393 BCU and Initial Spares & Consumables for Total Package Fielding. The proposed contract also includes the following option requirements: FY97, 1-100 Tactical Rounds, 1-61 CLU, 1-16 FTT-SS, 1-2 FTT-IS, and 1-2 BST. FY98, 1-105 Tactical Rounds, 1-125 CLU, 1-11 FTT-SS, 1-2 FTT-IS, and 1-2 BST. FY99, 1-112 Tactical Rounds, 1-178 CLU, 1-14 FTT-SS, 1-2 FTT-IS and 1-2 BST.
